Silentville is a strange town where time has stopped and you must solve the mystery to get time going again. It's an okay hidden object game, but the story ends abruptly and it has a really annoying physics puzzle. It's definitely one for which I would say its hidden object scenes are its most interesting aspect.
Type: Train Track Puzzle
Comment: Arrange the pieces of the track so that the train can reach the station. Here it is solved.
Type: Combination Lock
Comment: Don't bother trying to solve this one unless you have the paper that shows you which buttons to push. Once you have it, the answer is clear.
Type: Physics Puzzle
Comment: The most annoying puzzle in the game, imo. There's a ball in the lower left corner of the screen. Click and drag the arrow out of the ball and aim it at a basket. A ball must land in every basket to lower them and clear a path through the doors. You have unlimited balls, but it's still a pain and there's little I can do to help. Trial and error and slightly adjusting the trajectory when your aim is off is the best advice I can give.
Type: Matching Colors/Patterns
Comment: Click on the rolled-up rugs on the floor here and study their colors and patterns. Arrange them on the shelves in the back of the room by matching the patterns to the swatches.
Type: Pipe Fitting Puzzle
Comment: Turn the pipes to fit them together a form a connection between the outer tubes. Here is what it looks like solved.
Type: Tile Rotation Puzzle
Comment: Click the circles between the window panes to rotate them around. You want to get a perfectly clear pane situated over each flower. Here it is solved.
Type: Feng Shui Puzzle
Comment: Click the small lilypads to rotate the flowers and get them all to the top of the screen, forming 3 rows total. It will look something like this when solved.
Type: Gunpowder Track Puzzle
Comment: This is essentially the train track puzzle reimagined with gunpowder and dynamite. Form a trail between the two wires. Here is what it looks like solved.
Type: Rotating Rings Picture Puzzle
Comment: Rotate the rings to form a complete image. Rings rotate independently. Use the Fleur-de-lis at the top for guidance. Here is what it looks like solved.
Type: Photo Development Puzzle
Comment: When you click a button on the machine, a glass plate drops down over the blurry photograph. The secret to this puzzle is that if the photo image gets a little clearer, you got it right. If it doesn't get clearer, then you need to start over again. Here is what it looks like solved.
Type: Hidden Message
Comment: Put the photo in the magnifying machine and move the lens around to find a secret message. Here it is solved.
Type: Matching Colors
Comment: Pick up the folders and put them in the shelves by matching their colors to the shelf swatches. Easy.
Type: Repeating Screen Maze
Comment: It's possible to find your way through this maze via trial and error, but the directions are hidden in the wall. They can be revealed with an item.
Type: Pattern Matching
Comment: Click on the pieces of the key to rearrange them into a pattern that matches the image on the wall above. Here it is solved.
Type: Jigsaw Puzzle
Comment: Put together the picture of the globe. Here it is solved.
Type: Jigsaw Puzzle
Comment: Another one so soon? Reassemble the picture to get a secret code. Here it is solved.
Type: Combination Lock
Comment: And this is where you're going to put the code you got from the postcard on the refrigerator.
Type: Item/Color Matching
Comment: As the flowers grow, drag and drop them into the corresponding baskets below by type. Baskets will disappear when full.
Type: Concoction
Comment: Use the ground flowers to make a potion that will wake up the sleeping man at the beginning of the game. You should have a glass jar in your inventory that you can place here.
First, check the note to see how much of each type of flower powder you need to use. They will go, one at a time, into the measuring cup at the top.
Turn the valve to the left to let water into the large central decanter. Then turn the top valve to dump the flower powder into the water. It will turn purple (regardless of flower color).
Turn one of the valves on the front of the central decanter to make the liquid go into one of the four smaller tubes. Repeat this process for the other three flower types.
After all four tubes are filled, turn the large central valve to combine all four liquids into your glass vial.
Type: Pipe Connecting Puzzle
Comment: When you finish the previous puzzle, you'll be sent into another pipe connecting maze before you can get your potion. Here it is solved.
Type: Clock Puzzle
Comment: You should have a clue for this clock when you're ready to solve it in your journal. Set it to 16:05, which is actually 4:05.
Type: Shape Matching/Other
Comment: The clue for the clock puzzle also tells you what to do with the bell, the game's final puzzle. Use the glue on it, then place the Celtic symbols in their proper spots. Finally, ring the bell three times.
